Movin Right Along

We arrived last night in Split - quite a let down after being in the majesty and beauty of Dubrovnik - of course, my view could have been tainted by driving all day and having 3 hours sleep the night before - we arrived in Split and weren't impressed so we drove a few miles up the coast and got a room - make that rooms - separate rooms :) - overlooking the ocean -after a full nights sleep free of the snore-a-saurus we'll see what today brings.

Dubrovnik was amazing - we stayed literally steps outside the old walled city in a room overlooking the ocean - we easily could have spend another week there but decided we should start heading back to towards Zagreb since we fly out of there Friday. Yesterday we made a detour into Bosnia - I wasn't impressed by the city we stopped in (Mostar) - it seemed to exist solely to sell cheap souveniers - but it was interesting to observe the difference from Croatia - the muslim and turkish influence were immediately apparent.

The pictures below: View from top of the clock tower in Trogir, me sitting in the clock tower in Trogir, me and mommers on the side of the road on the drive to Dubrovnik, view from our room in Dubrovnik, a fort in Dubrovnik, view from the top of the walled city loooking down on Dubrovnik, me on the island of Lopud off the coast of Dubrovnich, the beach on Lopud, looking down from a fort in Pocitelj Bosnia, Graffiti in the fort in Bosnia, Mostar Bosnia.
